Computed Tomography X-Ray

Purpose

XRay CT enables visualization of structures in 3D

Experimental Design

Minimum number of animals: N/A (depends on needs of study, qualitative imaging vs quantitative study)

Age at test: N/A (see dosage guidelines)

Sex: either

Time of Day: typically during the light phase, but may vary depending on study requirements


Equipment and Consummables

Equipment

  • Mediso NanoScan SPECT/CT/PET
  • Console workstation
  • Recon and Analysis workstation

Consumable or Supplies Needed

  • Isoflurane and Oxygen for anesthesia
  • Eye ointment
  • Surface Disinfectant
